We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Chef / Assessor on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.
As a Chef / Assessor you will prepare fresh food to a very high standard from a range of menu options and food provisions, ensuring that all budget, quality and operational targets are achieved and be a point of contact for other staff members, in line with College policies and procedures. You will also support other chefs within the cluster.
In order to do this, you will need:
Level 2 English and Maths
Possession of NVQ level 2 or relevant qualification
Working knowledge of varied and large-scale catering operations / regulations within the hospitality industry
Experience of fresh food preparation, menus from a range of different nationalities
Track record of effectively leading a team
Track record of achievement of targets.
Track record of menu costing and planning
