School Learner Engagement Coordinator - Workington, CumbriaSalary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum The CompanyOur client is an Ofsted 'outstanding' training organisation, based in the North West of England providing a wide range of high quality training and qualifications. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Learner Engagement Coordinator to join their Workington training centre and act as an ambassador for the training organisation by engaging and working with local schools and job centres to find learners, enabling them to develop life opportunities and enhance their training and development.Role Responsibilities: Undertake learner engagement activities.Plan and deliver a programme of school engagement activities (school talks, taster events, interview skills, career fairs) to promote apprenticeships.Establish strong relationships with schools and partner agencies across the community.Working closely with job centres to find learners.Engaging with and supporting schools and learners either face to face, via social media, email, phone etc to understand all aspects of apprenticeships including the application process.Provide high quality, robust information, advice and guidance around all of the opportunities available.Building a robust candidate pool to aid a smooth transition into learning.Assessing prior attainment levels of learners and assessing suitability for different schemes.Essential Skills & Requirements:Excellent collaboration skills.Excellent time management/organisation skills- working to tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to undertake engaging presentations to schools and learners.Good IT skills.Attention to detail.
