The Position

A Maths Coach opportunity has become available within the Access & Continuing Education department, working 37 hours per week on a full-time fixed-term basis, up to June 2022.

The English and mathematics department are a central team that work across B&FC delivering English and mathematics at GCSE level to students aged 16-18 on a range of technical programmes of study as well as part-time adult students who attend one session per week.

The successful applicant to the role will work closely with the maths team, to support students who need some additional maths coaching outside of class to work towards achieving their target grades. This could involve support with a particular topic, exam technique or practising non calculator methods, for example.
