Primary School Admin Officer

We are working with a Good school located in Waltham Forest who are looking to add to their office team.The school rae looking for someone to manage data entry tasks in the school.The position is to start asap covering maternity for a school situated close to Stratford. This is a full time post.Manage admissions procedures ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and that information is effectively communicated to appropriate staff e.g. class teachers, SENCO § Liaise with the Head of Early Years and Leadership team to ensure all places are filled and an effective waiting list is maintained § To keep up to date with changes in statutory pupil data requirements and provisionsTo review attendance levels and work with teachers and school leaders to improve these levelsProduce attendance reports for teachers and leaders, alerting staff to pupils of concern.Draft written responses to parental requests for term time absenceContact parents/carers as necessary to confirm pupil absence and determine the reason for non[1]attendanceTo contribute to attendance review meetings with leadersUndertake home visits to investigate non-attendance as necessaryLiaise with relevant officers in local authority and complete pupil transfer/CMfE requirementsUndertake office duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquires and signing in visitors.Deal with complex reception/visitor mattersAdminister pupil first aid welfare duties, liaising with parents/staff etc.Assist with any other office duties that may be reasonably required by the management teamConfidence in the use of IT and be skilled in all software applications used in SchoolCreate mail merges, reports and complete official returns as necessaryDistribute literature to staff when requested using most effective method of communicationSupport Leadership by producing reports/letters where appropriateTo ensure the maintenance of clear and effective filing, records and other systems and to keep them updated -manual and electronic * Proven experience as a School Administrator * Experience as an educator is a plus * Knowledge of administrative processes of schools -SIMs * Ability to use computers (e.g. MS Office) and education management systems * Excellent communication skills * Outstanding organizational ability * Attention to detail * Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Good judgment and decision-making aptitudePlease contact to arrange an interview at the school
