£70-£80 per day

We are currently working with an SEN school based in New Malden who are looking for an experienced support worker/care assustant to join their post-16 team for an ASAP start.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting young adult students who have additional special educational needs, and will be comfortable supporting their learning within a post-16 educational setting.

In this role you will be required to support students on a one to one basis in class as well as with groups of learners. You will be focused on providing learning support as well as personal care, ensuring that you are providing the best experience and care possible for the students.

Key skills and experiences required:

  • Previous SEN experience, including experience with manual handling
  • Other previous support work with children and young adults with needs
  • Effective learning strategies
  • Enthusiastic and proactive
  • Able to build meaningful relationships with both learners and staff
