EHCP Coordinator

The Lifeskills team at Activate Learning works to support learners who face substantial barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs. You will be responsible for managing the EHCP processes for learners with SEN within the local area and collaborate with external agencies to support the transition of students into the College offer. The role will include working with faculty staff to raise awareness of disability as required.

This is a permanent, full time role at our Reading campus with the potential to earn up to £25,961 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You will have demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced environment with challenging demands on your time. Impeccable attention to detail is required as is an ability to collate information and dissimilate this appropriately for the audience receiving it.

You will have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in English Language, Sociology, Psychology, or similar. We would prefer individuals with knowledge of specifics barriers to learning to advise on reasonable adjustments to support students appropriately.

You may be required to travel within the local area for external meetings and liaising with schools, so a valid driving licence and access to a car is preferable but not essential.
