Programme Lead - Coding

With our exciting new coding provision expanding at our Regents Park Centre, we are looking for a Programme lead to join us. The provision and the Coding platform is running well , with students engaged in peer to peer learning on site.

About the role
We are looking for someone with an education background in IT, and with some coding experience.

You will lead a small team, with a key focus to ensure that our students experience a fantastic learner journey, including all possible enrichment activities.

You will lead on creating Master Classes, delivered either by yourself, or an industry expert.

You will be responsible for ensuring that whilst this provision is very different to traditional college courses, the students have every support avaible and that we are compliant with funding rules

We have over 150 students already gone through 3 week intensive selection pools and expect a full time cohort to commence in January

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will hold a computer science background and possess a recognized training qualification or the willingness to work towards one. The Programme Lead will manage a team of two members of staff. You will have experience of providing coding training with multiple programme languages such as Go, Rust and Javascript. The ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT is also essential. Ideally candidates will also have significant experience of working with DevOps and System Admin.

Working Hours
Our provision will be run from 8am - 9pm Monday , through Sunday, so we welcome applications for any individuals who would like evening / weekend work as well as those seeking normal office hours. Part time work is available
