West Suffolk College is looking for an organised, customer-oriented Administrator to join our Adult Skills Department, where you will support the delivery and growth of Adult Skills across the College.

As the first point of contact for prospective learners, the role will include ensuring accurate information is provided by telephone, face to face and email, as well as offering advice and guidance for all courses.  You will also support on inductions, ensure all records are kept up to date, monitor attendance and contribute to the marketing and planning of College activities and open events.

The successful candidate will have a welcoming approach, together with demonstrable experience of dealing with a range of people in a professional manner.  You should have previous experience in an administrative or office role, strong organisational skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.    Experience in using social media for marketing purposes would be highly advantageous.

As part of the role will involve attending inductions to support tutors with enrolment paperwork for courses, some travelling off-site may be required and very occasionally some evening working.  The ability to travel to various sites is therefore a requirement.
