We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational Joinery Teacher/Assessor to work in our Construction Department. Along with a competitive salary, we offer a very generous holiday entitlement, flexible working arrangements and an excellent contributory pension scheme.
The purpose of this rewarding role is to provide training, assessment of competence, guidance and support to learners in the College on both Full time and Apprenticeship programmes, delivery will be both at college and on-site

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The post holder will be required to recruit review and assess those candidates working in the relevant field both in college and on employers premises.
The post holder will act as the ambassador for the college at all times whilst undertaking the role, particularly in the employers workplace.
The post also involves teaching Full time learners, contributing to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of all programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets and performance criteria.

YOUR PROFILE

The qualifications deemed essential for this post are a recognised Carpentry & Joinery qualification at level 3
A minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C or 9 - 4)
NVQ Assessor qualification and V1 or a willingness to work towards V1 within an agreed timescale
