Within the range of £23,916 to £36,168 per annum

35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

This is an exciting and diverse opportunity for a Business professional to combine your skills in business, management, marketing and finance with the aim of raising student achievement and promoting a positive student experience.

You will be required to deliver high quality teaching to support the development of our students and enhance the employability skills of young people seeking a career in business.  The role will include supporting the implementation of the T Level and T Level Transition curriculum offer, teaching on the T Level program, teaching on BTEC Business qualifications and supporting learners to source work experience and Industry Work Placements required for T Level courses. In addition, this post may also include some teaching for 19+ students undertaking part time HE Access qualifications to enhance their career opportunities and progress into Higher Education, along with delivering off the job training for apprentices.

You may already be teaching, or looking to move into teaching, and should therefore have up-to-date industry expertise, a good standard of education including Level 2 maths and English, and a relevant Level 3 business qualification.  You should also have a teaching qualification or a commitment to achieving one within a specified time period. 

Suffolk New College can provide relevant teacher training to those individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus.  However, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you will be required to work at and travel between campuses.
