Learning Support Assistant

20 hours per week, 32 weeks per year, Permanent

Salary: £17,315 - £18,102 FTE per annum (actual will be pro rata based on hours £6,468 - £6,762)

We are seeking an approachable and adaptable individual to join our evolving Inclusive Learning Team, supporting students who need to overcome barriers to their learning.  You will work with small groups or 1:1 within a classroom environment, or out in the community. 

This is a highly rewarding role and would be suited to somebody with great enthusiasm and effective communication skills.  The successful candidate will have the ability to relate to young people and/or adults with a range of additional needs, including learning disabilities, mental health needs, social emotional difficulties, and physical care.  A recognised ‘Learning Support’ related qualification is desirable, and experience of SEND would be particularly advantageous.
