This is a one off payment, in addition to the salary offered, *terms and conditions will apply. An opportunity has arisen to join South Essex College in their Department for Health and Science. We are currently recruiting for a Science Lecturer. You need to have experience of teaching L2 and L3 BTEC Applied Science, particularly the physics modules. You will need a good understanding of the quality processes involved in delivering BTEC courses or be willing to learn about them. You need to be able to work in the lab guiding students in safe laboratory techniques. You will be able to guide students through independent research projects and be prepared to keep the college VLE up to date with resource materials for modules you teach. You will be experienced in delivering stimulating lessons, and able to identify students strengths and weaknesses. You will also be able to work as part of a supportive team, and keep open lines of communication between students, staff and parents.
