Full time Lecturer in Hairdressing

 up to £34,587 p.a.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a dynamic, passionate and talented hairdressing lecturer to be part of our successful hairdressing department, who is highly skilled and motivated and whose passion is to inspire students to achieve the highest standard of employability and hairdressing skills.  The hairdressing department is powered by top hairdressing company Toni&Guy; staff are trained in their cutting and colouring techniques and we use this approach within our hairdressing teaching at the College.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Hairdressing Lecturer who is qualified to teach across Levels 1 – 3 in Hairdressing.  You will be required to carry out teaching and assessments as well as working with the team to develop and enhance the existing curriculum to meet industry standards as well as ensuring that your teaching is consistently delivered to the highest standards.     

You must have current hairdressing industry experience and hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in hairdressing.  Ideally, Applicants should ideally also have experience of teaching and assessing in this area, knowledge of the current standards and frameworks and preferably hold a teaching qualification  (or be willing to work towards this)
