We are looking for an outstanding, inspirational and enthusiastic lecturer to join the rapidly growing Construction Division.
The ideal candidate will be qualified with a Cert Ed, widely experienced, possess a craft qualification at level 3 or higher. Having the relevant assessor qualification and IQA experience would be a great advantage.
You will have excellent planning and organisational skills and be adept at teaching and enthusing 14-19 learners. A significantly high level of classroom management, communication and IT skills are essential for effective liaison with learners to successfully complete the course.
This is a challenging role, but very rewarding.

Wigan & Leigh College is seeking a highly competent and knowledgeable Lecturer to join our Centre of Excellence at our Pagefield site to help us deliver outstanding teaching and learning on our Brickwork courses.
We are looking for candidates who have had experience in working within an industrial setting.
Ideally the candidate will be qualified to Level 3 and we are also interested in hearing from applicants who gained outstanding or who hold an equivalent qualification.
The successful Lecturer will be capable of sharing their knowledge with our students in an engaging and informative manner that demonstrates their passion for the subject.
Teaching experience is desirable, however we are looking for someone with the confidence to share their experience and knowledge with our students and will provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.
The role will also include IQA duties within an existing team and developing the College’s offer in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies.
