Trainer Assessor – Food and Drink Manufacturing

We are looking to appoint a Lead Trainer Assessor in Food and Drink Manufacturing to our highly motivated and creative team.
The successful candidate will be required to lead on the development and delivery of Apprenticeship Standards in Food and Drink Manufacturing at level 2 and level 3, and deliver professional qualifications at the same level, developing the College’s offer in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies. With an engineering background, experience of working in the food and drink manufacturing sector and an understanding of HACCP / Food Safety Qualifications in Manufacturing is essential.
Prior achievement of a recognised teaching or assessing qualification is desirable, however the College will support the right person in achieving these.
The role also includes conducting workplace assessments, progress reviews, health and safety appraisals and delivery / embedding of Functional Skills, Wider Skills and IQA duties within an existing team. The post holder will be required to deliver to some apprenticeship groups in college preparing apprentices for end point assessment.
