The Role

We are in search of inspirational Health and Social Care lecturers to oversee the day to day delivery of the level entry to level 3 vocational courses as well as supporting all students as a team.
We are continually improving our delivery of service to our stakeholders so that Newham college becomes the first choice for young people and adults. You should demonstrate a good understanding of Health, Health Sciences and Social Care through a history of teaching in the area and practical work experience in the field. The successful applicant will work as a member of the team delivering a full range of Health and Social Care qualifications including T levels. Experience in teaching anatomy and physiology or any of the science subjects will be a huge advantage.
You should be an honour graduate or have relevant final professional qualification or experience of teaching or training or assessment within health and social care or any relative field.
You should also have effective communication skills and the ability to respond imaginatively to the challenges of an innovative curriculum and to develop approaches to teaching which gain the interest of students.
This contract is an exciting developmental opportunity for an appropriately qualified lecturer to gain further skills in this area.
