Learning Coach - Professional Services

We now have an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Services team as a Learning Coach on a full time (37 hours per week) basis.

As a Learning Coach you will support apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to be demonstrated within the level 7 Senior People Professional Apprenticeship Standard.

To do this you will need to be driven, organised and dedicated to managing a busy and demanding workload, as well as have a genuine passion for the world of education and putting the learner experience at the heart of everything you do.

You should also have previous experience of working at the level of a Learning and Development Business Partner, Manager, Director or equivalent to enable you to mentor and support apprentices that are undertaking the Senior People Professional programme.

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to have both a flexible and adaptable approach.

This role provides the flexibility to work remotely and we will provide you with all of the equipment and support to help you do this. You will also have the opportunity to work from one of our sites across the Northwest and Greater Manchester and from time to time you will also be required to attend business in various locations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding and Ofsted is captured effectively and timely including:
    • 20% OJT requirements are fully met and recorded as per procedure
    • Create individualised learning programmes based on initial assessments and including Maths and English
  • Inspire and motivate learners and identify any barriers and adapt to your learners' needs
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with employers ensuring new leads are generated


  • You must be flexible, confident and an excellent communicator
  • Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications at a level higher than delivery, and/or current updated CPD
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent
  • Experience of coaching to support learning
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
