A lovely, community based Primary School in West Croydon are on the hunt for graduates looking to become learning support assistants. This Primary School has recently been rated as 'good' by OFSTED along with 'good' for the SLT. The children are polite and the staff are friendly and supportive. This 3-form entry Primary School, is located close to local train stations and can also offer onsite parking for staff.
The role will include working as part of the Primary School's team, working on a 1:1 basis with children in KS2. As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to help the children in and out of the classroom.
The successful LSA will ideally have some experience working with children and up to a BTEC degree. Alternatively, the School will consider someone with a University degree and 3 months' experience with Children (not in a classroom setting) and a keen interest in working with children.
This role is a full time position, to start in September 2022 and continue until the Summer Holidays in July 2023. However, for the right candidate the School will be able to offer a permanent position and direct Teacher training starting from September 2023.
