You will need to be able to build effective relationships with our learners, as well as have the ability to network and work collaboratively with colleagues in Total People, and external stakeholders.

We are looking for support tutors who are able to support our learners through their qualification in line with learner requirements, Awarding Organisation requirements, and quality standards, ensuring learners receive a high-quality programme in terms of learner support. You will do this by facilitating online discussions, offering valuable 1-1 support and managing online VLE activities.

You will be the first point of contact on assessment related questions, offering to help and guide learners to achieve their qualification goals.

You will have a genuine passion for the world of education, be driven, organised and dedicated to managing a busy and demanding workload.

You will support the learners to develop their knowledge and skills which are required to pass the qualification.

Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to have a flexible and adaptable approach. We will provide you with all the equipment you need, and we have great support teams on hand to enable you to work remotely.

This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week, however consideration will be given to part time applications. For a detailed job description please visit the Total People careers page.


  • Level 7 CIPD qualification or be willing to work towards
  • Human Resource Management BA / BSc (Hons)
  • Business Management and Human Resource Management BA (Hons)
  • An understanding of the demands of academic study
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to provide excellent support for learners
  • Knowledge and experience of working within the education sector
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrable commitment to ongoing CPD
