Job Title: Exams Officer
Salary: £22,265 - £23,646 (A24 – A28) per annum
Basis: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Exams Officer to join a dynamic and busy exam team at Reaseheath College.
The ideal candidate will support the wider exam team with administration, organisation, ensuring compliance and contribute to the smooth running of the examinations processes for Further Education, Higher Education and Apprenticeships, covering a wide range of Awarding Bodies and a broad range of subjects.
The role will also include delivering effective communication with awarding bodies, teaching staff and students on all matters relating to FE, HE and Apprenticeship examination assessment, administration and achievement, ensuring compliance with all College and awarding body examination policies.
The successful candidate will enjoy working to deliver to tight deadlines, be able to work with high volumes of data in a busy fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task and be highly organised, enthusiastic, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience of working within education would be advantageous as well as experience of using a student record system such as Prosolution although training can be given, along with applications such as excel, word processing and emails is essential along with a Level 3 qualification and/or relevant work experience and GSCE passes (4/C or above) in Maths and English.
Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
