Do you have a passion for Brickwork? Are you adaptable with a flexible attitude? Would you enjoy passing on your skills to our students? If so, we have a great opportunity for you.

This role willl involve teaching the theory elements of the Brickwork course as well as employability skills and the practical sessions in the workshops. You will work closely with the Team Leader and Job Coach between the Highbury Campus and Northarbour Campus. This role would suit someone with teaching experience who also understands pastoral care and has experience working with students with behavioural and social needs. You will be delivering practical training sessions for Entry Level 3, Level 1, L2 &3 programmes

Some of the main roles and responsbilites are:

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop
• Developing practical training tasks and teaching material ( Workshop ELT) that best enable students to achieve their goals
• Monitoring awarding body requirements for practical assessment facilities and advising the Sector Lead of any development needs
• Developing lesson plans and teaching materials for practical lessons
• Producing assessment plans and assessing students practical and written work
