HR Advisor

The WEA are looking to grow their HR team during what is a very exciting time within the organisation. At the WEA, we want to ensure we have the best talent, in the right place, at the right time and are looking for a HR Advisor to join our HR function.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in an HR advisory role. You will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance on employee relations matters and will be confident in your own knowledge and ability to influence others.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual with a high level of attention to detail, who thrives from working in a fast-paced, varied environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get involved in exciting new projects and initiatives the WEA are currently putting in place during a period of digital transformation.


Main responsibilities:

- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues
- Employee relations case management, providing clear and concise advice to line managers and maintaining records
- Take ownership of absence issues, including short-term absence management and implementing capability/long-term sick procedures
- Ensure employee records and systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner
- Build working relationships with all stakeholders and support managers with recruitment
- Support delivery of the people agenda through people data analytics, reporting on key themes and trends
- Ensuring appropriate contractual documents are issued and overseeing accurate processing in-line with the payroll requirements


- A CIPD qualification
- Experience of working in a HR environment, particularly within an advisory capacity and strong ER case management experience
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Proficient organisational and IT skills
