About the Role

 

  • You will assist in the identification of additional learning support needs for students and participate in the development and delivery of their learning support programmes and exam arrangements.
  • Where qualified at Level 7 you will also assess and apply for students EAA’s  
  • Following assessments, you will interview identified students, timetable and deliver their specialist tuition on a one to one or small group basis.  

 

About You

 

  • You will have experience of working with SEND students in an educational setting.
  • As part of the Assessor post, you will also have Level 7 Teaching and Assessing Learners with dyslexia/specific learning difficulties or an equivalent qualification that would enable you to assess students EAA needs as stated within the JCQ regulations. 
  • You will be required to hold a Level 5 Literacy or Spld Qualification
  • Knowledge and/or experience of our subject areas including A Levels, Equine, Sport, Agriculture or Animal Management will be an advantage although not essential.
