We have a fantastic opportunity for a fixed term HR Business Partner to join our wonderful HR and Payroll team at Trafford College Group. The successful candidate will join a busy and thriving Human Resources & Payroll Department that looks after over 850 staff, covering the whole employee life cycle. The Job:

We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience of operating at Business Partner level or for an Advisor/Officer who is looking to take their next steps in their career. You will a sound understanding of employment law and experience of supporting managers with employee relations. The role will be varied covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle along with working on HR projects to support the implementation of the People, Organisational Development and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategies.

About you:

To be successful, you will need to be a problem solver, with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers. You will already have relevant experience of working within a HR function and possess CIPD Level 5 or be working towards this. You should have a high level of IT competence and understand payroll procedures, however full training will be provided. We expect you to demonstrate an understanding of employment legislation and to have supported managers with employee relations matters, along with a working knowledge of recruitment processes. It would be beneficial if you could demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding in relation to safer recruitment, however full training will be given.
