Delivery is split between classroom and industry standard engineering workshops. The successful applicant will have engineering experience and occupational competence covering both practical and theoretical elements to support students in both workshop and classroom environments. In addition, you will ideally have experience of supporting and mentoring young people, or relevant transferable skills, and a desire to develop your teaching practice.

Working as part of a successful Engineering curriculum team you will plan and teach Engineering students using your Engineering and vocational experience. You will be contributing your skills to an Engineering team with diverse skills and specialisms.

We’re looking for someone with a minimum Level 3 qualification and comprehensive, recent industry experience. The successful candidate must have experience of delivering lessons at a standard of 'Good' or above, possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated to provide an outstanding service to our learners. You must have proven awareness and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Flexibility and ability to adapt towards different learner needs is also essential to the role.
