The Sixth Form Bolton is a vibrant specialist 16-19 Sixth Form College with circa 1800 students. We are dedicated to releasing the potential of our students and staff alike. The professional growth programme will be available to students in both their first and second year. During their first year, students will have the opportunity to develop key employability skills which will strengthen their applications to university, degree apprenticeships and employment. In their second year, the focus for students will be upon strengthening the necessary academic skills required for successful completion of their core study programme and for a smooth transition to higher education.
The Professional Growth Programme will include an online learning platform, where students will complete modules in relation to their chosen career pathway over a 30-week period. All students will also undertake 6 weeks of live lessons, where they will develop skills such as teamwork and communication, through a variety of assessment-centre style activities.
