30 hours per week 

The working pattern is Tues-Thurs 7.5 hours, 3.5 hours Friday and 4 hours on a Saturday  

52 weeks per annum

We are recruiting for an experienced and well organised Horticulture Technician/Instructor with a passion for inspiring young people to join the team at Common Leys Farm Campus. This is an exciting post, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to work across the Horticulture Unit that has dedicated ornamental gardens, polytunnels and greenhouses as well as within the wider farm estate supporting the animal unit team to enrich their green spaces with dedicated plant life. The successful candidate will undertake technical instruction of a wide range of horticulture practices to students, this will include practical RHS, Agriculture, Animal, Countryside and Equine management courses. 


You should be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in a recognised Horticulture subject and have recent experience of working within a commercial garden. You must enjoy working with people and be confident instructing students in a wide variety of routine duties and practical horticulture tasks. 


You would be part of a dedicated, flexible team of lecturers, instructors, technicians and support staff based at the Common Leys Farm Campus.
