Primary School Support AssistantStart Date: 6th SeptemberSingle-form entry Primary School in the Lytham area (FY8)Full-time RoleLevel 2 qualification requiredTeaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the Lytham area, this 'good' school are in need of a Teaching Assistant to help their EYFS class with the new cohort of pupils in September. The Head Techer has shared their interest in finding an individual with specialist SEN knowledge. This knowledge may be from working within education, care or from personal experience.This position is long-term and set to begin in the new school year on the 6th September. The EYFS class make lessons as interesting and hands on as possible to engage previous reluctant learners. Due to the nature of this role, there is potential that this may consist of working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil to help monitor behaviour and personal progression. This position will run for the entire school year, with the potential of a school contract in Easter.As a Support Worker, you will be required to:Support pupils throughout the school daySupport pupils through EYFS frameworksIncorporate the use of senses into learningHelp pupils to support their speech, language, and communicationConsider the choices, needs and wishes of each pupils and encourage them to make the right choices for learningThe school require nurturing individuals which can make a positive impact on the pupils at the school. The perfect applicants should be empathetic, an excellent communicator and compassionate. They should help support the needs of each individual pupil and want to help them to achieve their goal.
