Teaching Assistants (Level 1): Specialist Provision
Part Time: 30 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (Term Time Only)
Salary: £18,535 per annum (£11,676 pro rata)
Fixed Term: September 2022 to August 2023

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistants to provide and deliver one to one and group support to students within our specialist provision.
Teaching Assistants attend to the educational, personal and social needs of students and any other requirements depending on the student's educational needs and, wherever possible, make these part of the learning experience within a dedicated Learning Area.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist tutors with educational activities in the classroom to support students' learning and development across a range of subjects.
Teaching Assistants assist students with their chosen subject and their need to achieve a good standard in English and Maths. You will work with individuals and groups to support expectations of acceptable personal and social behaviour and on basic tasks and to assist the class tutor in delivering Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCP), as necessary
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience within the educational sector and possess professional qualifications at Level 3. A desirable qualification for this role will be GCSE English and Maths and excellent communication and organisational skills.
