An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, forward thinking lecturer to join our growing mechanical engineering department.
Applicants should hold at least a Level 3 qualification in engineering (however a HNC/D would be an advantage), have a manufacturing/maintenance background and varied experience in the engineering sector. The successful applicant will be required to deliver both workshop and theory sessions in engineering up to level 3 for both full time learners and apprentices.
We deliver across multiple areas within the engineering sector, mechanical, maintenance, fabrication & welding electrical/electronic and design, using a range of awarding organisations and we are looking to expand our curriculum offer to meet industry needs both locally and nationally.
Teaching experience/possession of a teaching qualification and assessor award would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided to the correct applicant. It is our vision for this new member of the team to enhance our current delivery and contribute towards developing a curriculum that meets the needs of our local employers.
If you think that you have the qualities, skills and aspirational attitudes to join the Engineering team we look forward to hearing from you.
