School Office Administrator

The role of an Administrator is to help make sure schools run like clockwork between 08.30 and 15.30; 5 days a week; 39 weeks a year.Educate has been asked to support a school in Saltney in their search for an Administrator, capable of committing to a role that will initially be for the Autumn school term. There is a possibility that this could become a permanent role following the initial term . You will be involved in running the reception and supporting the Headteacher with managing the day to day administrative tasks associated with running a busy school. With your efficient, professional approach, you will be responsible for accurate files and production of reports.You will ideally have some previous administrative experience of SIMS , as well as a high degree of computer literacy (Word and Excel). You should be used to working on several administrative tasks and be able to switch between them, whilst providing excellent customer service to people contacting the school. An understanding of school management systems, such as SIMS and P2P would be beneficial, however training will be provided. You will need to be adaptable and flexible in order to work in this busy, often demanding role and the ability to multitask is a must. What qualifications do I need?You will ideally have GCSE passes in maths and English. Relevant qualifications would be beneficial; however, not essential.What skills or qualities do I need?Well-organised, highly motivated, caring and empathetic.
