Working Men’s College is seeking fully qualified maths tutors to join our well-established and successful adult numeracy provision and also to help deliver a new programme of maths courses under the College’s Multiply project.
We have vacancies on our mainstream adult numeracy provision on evening or Saturday courses, delivering courses leading to qualifications at Entry level to GCSE.
There will also be teaching hours available on the College’s Multiply project, including daytime hours, delivering creative and bespoke maths courses to adults out in the community. Multiply is a new national initiative seeing to improve adults’ maths skills through a range of innovative and creative maths courses
Applicants must hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification plus Maths Subject Specialism and have excellent IT skills and experience of delivering high quality blended learning to adults from entry level to level 2 and GCSE.
The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging online learning, and will have a passion for teaching maths to adults from a range of backgrounds.
