On top of this they also offer a competitive rewards and benefits package which includes a performance and loyalty bonus, pension scheme and a wellbeing cash plan.This is a term-time only role for an exceptional organised individual that can relate well to school childrenJOB TITLE: AdministratorJOB TYPE: PermanentCOMPANY TYPE: Secondary school / AcademySALARY: £20,676 per annum for 38 weeks (£24,705 FTE)HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pmLOCATION: Wandsworth, LondonCULTURE: Supportive team with an exceptional school ethosResponsibilities/DutiesCover reception duties, answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors, dealing with parental and visitor enquiries and supporting student enquiries.Assist with student first aid/welfare duties, looking after sick student, liaising with parents/staff etc.Assist in arrangements for school trips, events etc.Provide administrative support for the admissions process including liaising with the local authority, parents, other educational establishments, etc. Obtaining student educational records and processing new students starting at the academyProvide assistance to parents of new students on relevant academy matters including uniform, etc.Supporting Finance with administrative actions for ParentPay including communication to parents and dealing with queries that may ariseAdministration of student bursaries, ensuring the completion of various required documentation in line with finance policy. Supporting and liaising with students regarding bursary queries, tracking expenses and advising on allowable expenditure in line with the policyEnsure Free School Meals students are registered, as and when required; liaising with Local Authority, parents and students to ensure they are informed of eligibility & processing FSM voucher paymentsUtilising various online portals in order to support the completion of tasks e.g. ParentPay, Secure Access, Bromcom, Huggg, etc.Using My Child at School and emails/texts through Bromcom to send Academy communication as advised by the SLTTo ensure the academy minibus is regularly checked by a qualified MiDAS driver and records are maintainedProvide general clerical/administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, e-mailing, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondenceMaintain manual and computerised records/management information systemsUsing the Bromcom MIS system to log data and produce required dataUndertake various administrative duties and procedures; maintaining and collating student reportsUndertake routine administration of school lettings and other uses of school premises.Provide timely and effective operation of secretarial and administrative support to the Principal and the Senior Leadership teamMaintain tracking for students on exclusion; and dealing with the communication and correspondence to parents, staff and students relating to thisUpdate the academy website as necessary under guidance of the Director of Resources, Principal and Senior Leadership TeamAssist the Academy by maintaining good relationships with staff, parents, governors, contractors, representatives and external agencies in order to promote the objectives of the SchoolTaking minutes of meetings where necessary, preparing agendas, papers and minutes and keeping records as requiredSupporting the Reprographics area in copying documents as requested by various members of staff including preparing teaching resources, as necessaryOther duties as may reasonably be requested by the Executive Principal Skills and ExperienceAbility to relate well to childrenFlexibility and ability to respond to multiple demands and to prioritiseAbility to work well with colleagues and parentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood ICT skills and experience, including Word, Excel, and management information systemsExperience of working with children of relevant age (11-19) desirableGood standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy skillsHigh degree of professionalism towards roleHigh level of initiative and enthusiasmPositive role model for childrenAcceptable professional appearance at all timesOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
