MK College Group have an exciting opportunity for a creative Music Technology Lecturer to join the education team based at HMP Winchester.
As a Music Technology Lecturer, you will be delivering Music Technology to learners within the prison. The courses are unaccredited, and the classes are a way to engage with hard-to-reach younger offenders, helping them to improve behaviour and develop soft skills.
The music provision at Winchester has benefited from recent investment, including instruments and new computers. We are seeking individuals who have expertise in Cubase/Logic/Cakewalk/FL Studio and similar software.
If you are passionate about making a difference to individuals learning experience, and helping them to achieve success, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to create a positive learning experience for the learners at HMP Winchester.
MK College will treat all applicants fairly and with respect, irrespective of their background, disability or any other individual characteristic. We particularly encourage applications from people with backgrounds which are currently under-represented within Milton Keynes College. All offers made to successful candidates are subject to satisfactory outcomes to a range of pre-employment checks including a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS). In addition, security clearance is required for all prison services positions up to Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level.
