We have a great opportunity to join our Education team as Student Support Worker- for Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Preston, offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 37hrs per week. The vision for the Education, Skills and Work provision at HMP Preston is to ensure that Prisoners' in our care realize their full potential through Education, Skills and Work

What the role entails

As a Student Support Worker you will provide a support service to new receptions in our Induction classroom, and to established learners across the department. The support role includes delivering the induction package to small groups, conducting initial assessments and LDD assessments, producing Learning Support Plans, and recording all information on two digital systems.
