On top of this they also offer a competitive rewards and benefits package which includes a performance and loyalty bonus, pension scheme and a wellbeing cash plan.This is a predominantly term-time role for a deadline-driven Data Manager that is dedicated to supporting the schools' vision of developing aspirational children who thrive in a changing world.JOB TITLE: Data ManagerJOB TYPE: PermanentCOMPANY TYPE: Secondary school / AcademySALARY: £30,220 - £33,840 per annum for 42 weeks (£34,670 - 36,570FTE)HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pmLOCATION: Battersea, LondonCULTURE: Supportive team with an exceptional school ethosResponsibilities/DutiesTo be the Data Manager for staff using the school's Management Information System (Bromcom), overseeing admissions, maintenance of student information; assessment and reporting, personnel, statutory returns, exams, timetable and attendanceTo be in charge of data analysis and produce in-depth, accurate, relevant, user-friendly reportsTo ensure that third party systems used at the academy seamlessly integrate with the MISTo follow a provided schedule of reporting (data) needed throughout the yearTo produce baseline data list for staffTo support on the half termly reporting process on the MISTo produce statistical returns and exporting data as required for public bodies including exclusionsTo provide summary statistical information to SLT on attendance rates and exclusionsTo create reports to assist SLT, Heads of Year, Achievement Directors and Teachers in identifying students with poor attendance and/or punctuality rates/ behaviour incidentsTo provide training for staff on accessing data in BromcomTo generate reports for all stakeholders, fully utilising the MIS systemTo develop and build up a bank of Bromcom reports to extract student dataTo provide training on data interpretation and the understanding of reports produced to governors, staff, parents/carers and studentsTo source and import admissions data into BromcomTo produce data files from Bromcom for submission to central Sixth FormTo provide training and support to teaching staff entering assessment dataTo produce statistical information and analysis of data for SLTTo give advice to SLT on future development of assessment systemsTo work pro-actively with subject leaders and other new and existing staff to assist teachers in using performance data to raise standards of achievement and improve equality of opportunitySkills and ExperiencePrevious Data Manager experienceFive GCSEs including English and Maths at C or above (or equivalent)Three Level 3 qualifications including one in an appropriate field to the postExperience of a busy office setting where you have ultimate responsibility for important deadlines and arrangements.Experience in an educational settingExpertise with the full Office suite including an excellent working knowledge of ExcelThe ability to use CMIS or other database and able to learn any new system rapidlyOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
