Job Title: Lecturer Science (Maternity Cover - Fixed Term Contract until the 31st of July 2023)
Salary: From £24,035 (SCP 22) up to £34,189 per annum pro rata (SCP34) dependent on qualifications & experience.
Hours: 1.0 FTE - 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term/Academic
The College will support any successful candidate direct from Industry to obtain a professional Teaching qualification
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking individual to join our Science team. You will ideally be qualified to Degree Level but as a minimum Level 3 in Chemistry and or Biology and have experience in delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in Science disciplines.
Within the Science Team we deliver to a range of learners from 16 – 18 Level 2 & 3 students, HNC/D part time and full time provision, University Higher Education and apprenticeships. We are seeking an adaptable and professional individual to join a very supportive and high performing team, with outstanding outcomes for our learners. This area is growing and so this new position will aid with our further development of HE curriculum and our expansion into new markets.
