Sports and Fitness Coordinator
15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 4, Spine Point 18 (FTE salary £28,896.48). Actual salary £10,453.20.
HSDC is currently seeking an engaging and enthusiastic sports development professional to create personal development opportunities relating to health, sport and fitness for all students at HSDC.
The successful applicant will work between the Havant and South Downs campuses to increase participation in ‘Be Active’ extra-curricular sport, exercise and fitness activities for 16–19-year-old students. They will also have experience of sports development in an educational context and have worked in community sport.
In order to succeed in this role you will be a driven and proactive self-starter, who is able to work to the benefit and interest of students, with a focus on 16-19 year olds. You will have experience of bid and partnership development to support delivery of activity. You will also have a good understanding of the relevant policies and strategies driving sports participation for young people.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and admin skills are required, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
