Grade 5: £30,060.83 - £39,281.98 per annum (depending upon experience and qualifications) plus Market supplement of £2000.00 per annum, which is reviewed annually.

Due to the college offering the new T level qualification opportunities for recruitment have arisen within our Engineering department.

HSDC is seeking to appoint an Electrical Engineering Lecturer in our busy engineering curriculum area. It is an exciting time to be joining our experienced teaching team as new qualifications called T levels are just about to start. It is the introduction of these new qualifications in Design and Development (electrical specialism) that has led to the need to advertise. Engineering - Design and Development - Specification

Applicants will have relevant vocational experience and would ideally be qualified to degree level in their subject area. It would also be essential to have high level Maths skills to support the teaching of Mathematical concepts in Engineering. A passion for the subject is essential. If you have industry experience and a desire to teach we can help you on your journey to becoming a fully qualified lecturer. 

You will be a good team player, creative and flexible in your approach to working with a wide range of students including an understanding of a range of educational needs and approaches to teaching.

Applicants must demonstrate flexibility in hours and tasks undertaken and have knowledge of health, safety and quality systems.
