About the role:
We are searching for a Work Experience Advisor to join us on a temporary basis as maternity cover. It is a rewarding role as you assist our learners into the world of employment through work experience placements.
As a Work Experience Advisor, you will develop excellent working relationships with students, employers and colleagues, be understanding of students' needs, and have an understanding of how to equip students with the employability skills needed to undertake a successful placement.
Being an effective communicator is essential in this fast-paced role as you will be effectively engaging with local and regional employers, and act as an advocate for learners to ensure that the preparation, delivery and evaluation of placements are meaningful, relevant and sustained to a high quality. Having a passion for helping others and driving real change can have a positive impact on our learners and you will be dynamic individual who is open to a challenge.
The successful candidate will be approachable, friendly, understanding and adaptable as you assist our learners into work experience placements. You will be supported by an experienced Student Services Manager and be able to assist in organising sector specific career events as well as other projects that will be beneficial to our students.
