This position is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly enthused Business and IT lecturer and to assist in taking the area forward to outstanding.
You will need to have the experience and knowledge to teach on all levels within the Business department level 1 – 3 , and be able to support and inspire learners aged 14-18 supporting their achievement and progression onto higher level courses or into employment.
The person selected for this role will need to have a degree in the relevant subject and a teaching qualification. The candidate will need to have recent experience of teaching and be able to demonstrate good /outstanding in recent lesson observations. They will need to teach and assess on all levels within the Business department using a varied range of teaching and learning methodologies and techniques.
The successful candidate will have experience of meeting the needs of learners, working collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrating outstanding relationships with external partners and employers that we are or could become associated with. They will have excellent organisational skills and be familiar with awarding body standards and procedures.
