Activate Learning are now recruiting for a qualified Counsellor to teach Level 3 Counselling on a part time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to and develop the delivery of a well-established and successful counselling training team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above
  • Be a member of a professional association for counselling
  • Be a current practitioner with supervised counselling practice
  • Have a supervision qualification or experience of supervising groups or individuals in a counselling setting. 
  • Have evidence of completing 30 hours per year CPD activities
  • Have a teaching qualification or be willing to complete a teaching qualification
  • Have experience of teaching and assessing at level 2 or above

In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.

This is a part time, casual contract predominately working Thursdays 10am -1:30pm at Woodley Hill House, and offering an hourly rate of up to £28.51, depending on qualifications and experience.
