E4779 We are recruiting Study Coaches for Maths to deliver GCSE and FS catch up sessions to small groups of up to 5 students, who require additional support as a result of the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
You will be part of and supported by staff within the Study Programme Maths team. You could be based at any college site (Roundhouse, Joseph Wright Centre, Broomfield, Hudson/Johnson Building).
This is a truly rewarding role, working with students and directly seeing the impact of your work and helping them to overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.
You will be a dedicated and motivated professional, providing outstanding teaching and learning for our 16-19 cohort. You will be qualified up to at least Level 3 in Maths, a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable. In addition, it is desirable that you hold a recognised teaching qualification.
You will be an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative teacher with experience of delivering Maths, preferably in the FE sector. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential in this role.
