Post Title: Lecturer/Course Manager in Business and Business & Events
Status: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week
Responsible to: Programme Leader in Business
Salary: £25,331 - £28,925 (L6 - L9) per annum
Due to expansion within our Business Department, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious person to join our specialist teaching team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering to Further and Higher Education students and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new curriculum opportunities, as we seek to grow our provision. You will also have opportunities to engage with national and international businesses and events, and the benefit of working in the beautiful rural surroundings of the Reaseheath College campus.
In addition, students and staff can expect to undertake exciting study tours around the world, to further enhance and link knowledge and skills to learning. Also, the T Level qualifications are a new development in Business, and the college has expanded its provision to enable us to deliver these exciting qualifications. We have invested over £100k to develop state of the art classrooms, with equipment to be able to deliver sessions for students in the 21st century. Plus, students will be encouraged to organise and host their own events throughout the year, such as Gin Tasting evenings and Christmas Fayres.
The successful candidate will join a well-established team full of highly motivated staff with a “can do” attitude. We are looking for a person with strong up to date industry knowledge and experience in Business and or Business & Events. Ideally you will have some experience of teaching, although teacher training, leading to a recognised teaching qualification, will be provided.
