35 hours per week - Permanent  

Salary: £24,838 per annum - £33,113 per annum (dependent on experience)

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Animal Studies team at West Suffolk College. Are you passionate about inspiring the next animal ambassadors of the future? We are seeking a driven individual to pave the way for our students to enter the Animal Sector!  We need you to teach them the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this sector; creating successful individuals who will thrive in our compassionate and fast paced sector. In this role you will cover Level 1 – Wildlife and Conservation, Level 2 – Behaviour and Handling, British Wildlife Species and Level 3 – Wildlife Ecology, Avian Health, Wildlife Rehabilitation, Animal Training, Zoological Collections, Behaviour and Communication. 

Although teaching experience would be ideal, we are keen to hear from professionals with experience of working within the Animal Sector, specifically those with Wildlife/Zoo or Animal Behaviour backgrounds.
