Salary: £26,019.62 - £39,926.31 per annum (Dependant on experience and qualifications) plus £3,030.00 allowance for team leader responsibility

Job Title:              Team Leader in Brickwork, Plastering, Wall & Floor (Full-Time)

Hours:                  35 hours per week including 10 hours remission from teaching

An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in Brickwork, Plastering and Wall & Floor to join a committed team. This is a fantastic chance to lead a team, pass on your skills at Further Education level and inspire the next generation.

Working in a vibrant and positive learning environment, you will be responsible for leading the following subject areas:

• Brickwork
• Plastering
• Wall & Floor
  
  Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Must have a teaching and assessing qualification or willing to work towards them.
• Must have a level 3 qualification in Brickwork or be able to teach brickwork.
• Must have experience delivering within at least one of the subject areas either Brickwork, Plastering and Wall & Floor.  
• Have good organisational and planning skills.
• Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate staff and students.
• Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners
• Extensive knowledge of your subject areas.
• Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.

About Us 

In August 2021, Highbury College and Portsmouth College merged to form the City of Portsmouth College. The new organisation is a general further education college in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.  

It provides vocational and academic education and training, from first-step courses to university level foundation degrees, specialised services for business and education in the community. Courses include A Levels, vocational diplomas (BTECs), GCSEs, Foundation Degrees, Apprenticeships and unaccredited leisure courses.
