Attendance Officer / School Administrator required for a Catholic Comprehensive School, part of a recently formed Catholic Multi Academy Company, with pupils from a wide range of communities and backgrounds based in Acocks Green, Birmingham, B27.

Grade 3 (£ 21,269 - £27,514) FTE
One year Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
Required from September 2022
Working Time: 36 hours per week (Full time or term time only will be considered)

Job Purpose

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Attendance Officer / School Administrator whose primary responsibility will be to manage pupil attendance advising on appropriate strategies to promote regular attendance and excellent punctuality.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role combined with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to motivate.

Experience of managing attendance

Education / Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 good grade GCSEs including English and Maths
Relevant administration/management qualification is desirable.
