The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join the team to inspire carpentry and joinery specialists for the future.
You will deliver outstanding courses using a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies including remote learning. You will provide learners with an exceptional educational experience enabling them to maximise their potential.
You will work at our Stockport Campus where we are making a multi-million pound investment in new buildings, better facilities and resources.
With a level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery you will teach across all modules on our level 1-3 courses. You will teach full time learners and Apprentices working on the new Apprenticeship Standards. Numeracy and literacy skills at level 2 and a teaching qualification will also be required along with a commitment to achieve a level 5 qualification within 2 years, or if a vocational area a commitment to achieve teacher qualified status within 2 years.
