Lecturer in Health and Social Care

If you have experience working within a nursing, clinical or health background, this could be an ideal opportunity for you to begin your teaching career. Alternatively, this would also be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lecturer to join us in teaching on our T-Level provision. Experience in teaching anatomy and physiology, clinical skills for nursing or any of the science subjects will be a huge advantage.

The T Level Health Programme is an exciting course that sees students not only extend their knowledge in the classroom but also in the laboratory, as well as opportunities for on industry placements in the NHS over the course of the 2-year qualification.

At Newham College, we build great careers by offering a range of vocational and academic learning routes to create independent, socially inclusive and economically active citizens to lead meaningful and prosperous lives. We are continually improving our delivery of service to our stakeholders so that Newham College becomes the first choice for young people and adults.

The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have an open mindset and a positive attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools. Along with current Maths and English skills, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop our learners and role model the attributes that we seek to develop within our learners.

This contract is an exciting developmental opportunity for a career beginner and an appropriately qualified Lecturer to gain further skills in this area.
