School Business Support Officer, LeylandDo you have experience of working within a school office and looking for your next school based role?Are you available for September 2022?If the answer is yes, then please get in touch today!We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Business Support Officer for a successful school based in the Leyland area. The successful candidate will be an outstanding team player and administrator who has the ability to work as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved.This is a permanent position to start on 1st September 2022. Working hours are 37 per week, term time only plus 2 weeks. There is a chance for progression within this role due to some exciting changes within the teams and school itself.Within this role you will work independently on a range of tasks which will require the use of some analysis and judgement to complete including being responsible for coordinating, monitoring and organising administrative or financial systems and procedures for the school. The JobResponsible for school administrative activities including administration of financial processesMaintenance of manual and computerised records on SIMSSupervision of other support staff including allocation and checking of work, induction, demonstration of dutiesProduction of regular management information, including financial data and assist in the production of reports for the senior leadership teamUndertake monitoring of monthly expenditureReconcile accountsAssist in school marketing and promotionAssist as appropriate in relation to recruitment and selection for vacancies within schoolThe skillsExperience of working in a finance role.Ideally experience of working within an school environment.Grade A - C, or equivalent, at GCSE or O Levels/CSE in English & Maths.Attention to details and ability to monitor monthly expenditure and reconcile accounts.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
